About ALEX:

Hockey star Alexander Crossman has a reputation as a cold-hearted player on and off the rink. Pushed into the sport by an alcoholic father, Alex isn’t afraid to give fans the proverbial middle finger, relishing his role as the MVP they love to hate. Management, however, isn’t so amused. Now Alex has a choice: fix his public image through community service or ride the bench. But Alex refuses to be molded into the Carolina Cold Fury poster boy… not even by a tempting redhead with killer curves.

As a social worker, Sutton Price is accustomed to difficult people—like Alex, who’s been assigned to help her create a drug-abuse awareness program for at-risk youth as part of the team’s effort to clean up his image. What she doesn’t expect is the arrogant smirk from his perfect lips to stir her most heated fantasies. But Sutton isn’t one to cross professional boundaries—and besides, Alex doesn’t do relationships… or does he? The more she sees behind Alex’s bad-boy fa├žade, the more Sutton craves the man she uncovers.

Sourcebooks Casablanca, Erotic Romance

Elene Sallinger is known for providing an emotional perspective of the BDSM genre as well as seat-squirming scenes. Sallinger excels at exploring the psychology behind BDSM and explaining the emotional need behind her character’s deepest, darkest desires.

Reflection is the much-anticipated second novel from award-winning author Elene Sallinger. Reflection brings us inside the life of Claire’s intriguing best friend Bridget, whose encounter with sexy artist Connor leads to a life-altering and emotionally wrought, (and steamy) journey of sex, and self-discovery.

My Personal Review

I have to say that I read this book without reading the first in the series (Awakening) but I am definitely going back to read that first one after reading this! Not that I felt this couldn't be read as a standalone, cause I did. I didn't really feel like I was missing out on anything in this story however, you really don't know what you're missing without having the experience right?

With that being said I have to say that I really liked the storyline for this read. We have Bridget who is a Southern gal who has all the strength and independence that a woman can have but uses it to mask the insecurities she also harbors due to her upbringing and some experiences she has had. Then there is Connor who loves to be immersed in art and has a talent for it but due to some tragic events in his past he keeps it more as a hobby for himself & chooses to work a low key job that will cover his bills.

Bridget and Connor literally bump into each other one day at a park and there is an immediate attraction. It's not so easy to tell at first, since Bridget's reaction is a little more on the angry side, but we soon discover that it's just a protective shield that's been put in place and she isn't always able to prevent that from coming up. Connor can't stop thinking about her and Bridget, she feels bad for how she reacted & can't stop thinking about him. They soon run into one another again in their workplace, which happens to be the same place.

They begin seeing one another and through their relationship they both begin to learn a lot about themselves. Connor knows that Bridget is a woman that he wants to get to know better and he works to gain her trust so she will let her guard down. Bridget finds that she feels comfortable with Connor, and safe which is a big thing for her. Together they discover each other’s guarded past and, in their own ways, try to help exorcise each other’s demons. Connor opens Bridget's eyes to new views on the things in her past and while it takes her some time to accept and incorporate his views in with hers, she is able to let her guard down with him more than she has with anyone. In turn Bridget tries to help Connor see his potential and that it's something that shouldn't be hidden but he's a little more resistant to her views until he's put in a position where he has to face them if he wants them to ultimately be together.

There are some erotic scenes in the book but the story is really more about 2 people that find their true selves again while helping each other mend.

Get your copy of Reflections now & while you're at it get Awakening also!

Price: Free

I’d do anything to keep my mother alive.

Anything, including ask Ian Kerr for help. I don’t know much about him, except that he has more money than some small countries. And he’s willing to spend it on me. Just one catch: there’s a string attached, and not just the one I feel pulling me into his arms and his bed.

 photo LosingControlTeaser3.jpg

There’s also the plan for revenge he wants my help with. Every time he says my name, it makes my body shiver and my heart stutter. I know he’s going to wreck me, know there won’t be anything left of me but lust and sensation by the time he’s done with me, but even though I can see the heartbreak coming towards me like a train, ready to crash into me, I can’t get out of the way. I want what he makes me feel. Want what he’s offering.

This may have started out as something to save my mother, but now…now it’s about what he makes me feel. I’m in danger of losing everything that’s important. Worse? Ian's whispered words and hot caresses are making me believe that's okay.

Mild Excerpt

“Bad morning?”

The question comes from a rich deep voice to my right. Some stupid actor, probably. The notes of his voice are perfectly modulated as if he spent years perfecting the tone and depth to reach the biggest audience.

“Yeah, what’s it to you?” I challenge because I’m not in the mood to be chatted up by some wannabe in an off, off Broadway production who wants to try out some new lines on a messenger girl.

My sneering gaze melts right off my face when it lands on the owner of the voice. Dark haired and dark eyed, the stranger gives me a slow smile as I take him in. He’s tall, much taller than my five foot four inch frame. I have to trek upward to see the entire package.

And there’s so much to appreciate from his trim waist to the wide shoulders encased in a gray wool suit coat that fits him so well I wonder if he was sewn into it. Tiny stitches on the lapel mark it’s expensive provenance. A dark tanned neck gives way to a firm chin and lush lips. Bee stung is the description that I’ve heard used to describe the same look on super models. Those lips are about the only soft thing on his face. Those lips and a hollow on the side of his face that appears when those plush lips curve upward. The divot is too shallow and wide to be termed a dimple, but it’s just as devastating.

One hand is stuck in a pocket and his jacket is pushed behind the hand to reveal a flat stomach. No desk paunch on this guy. There’s an intense sexual aura about him. The nonchalant stance, the dark gaze, the lush lips are all an invitation to rip the buttons of his snowy white shirt apart and see exactly what lies underneath all of those fabrics.

I stick a thumb under my jaw under the guise of giving my chin a scratch just to make sure my mouth is closed. This guy? He can practice lines with me all he wants.

Loveswept (Random House) is thrilled to share an early teaser from WORTH THE FALL: The McKinney Brothers by Claudia Connor. Discover the story of Abby and Matt—and how one magical week between them can turn into something more… something worth falling for. Read on for more about the book and a sexy teaser!

The McKinney Brothers: A Loveswept Contemporary Romance
Written by Claudia Connor
On Sale September 9, 2014

Prepare to be swept away by a talented debut author with a passionate, powerful story to tell.

They meet on a beach. . . . Abby Davis isn’t wearing a skimpy bikini or sipping umbrella drinks, not when she’s busy chasing around four little ones. And Matt McKinney isn’t looking for fun—he’s a Navy SEAL, a grown man with a long list of missions . . . and fallen brothers.

They only have a week. . . . Abby has brought her children to this beach to start over, to give them the enjoyable memories they deserve. Matt’s been sidelined by a combat injury, and haunted by the best friend he lost and the promise he made: to remain a SEAL—focused and dedicated. This leaves no time for what he’s always wanted: a family.

But a week is all it takes. . . . Matt opens her heart while Abby soothes his soul. And though they plan to say good-bye when the week is over, something magical happens on that beach, something neither can forget. Something utterly, completely worth falling for.

Settle down. He’s only a man.

Using the upper body strength she’d honed at the gym, she strained to crank the stubborn umbrella. She could do it. She’d done it yesterday. For God’s sake. Don’t look completely incompetent.

“Need some help?”

“No, I’ve got it.”

He moved in behind her until he stood so close she felt the loose strands of her hair catching on his chest. Abby inhaled hot skin and male deodorant—a heady, masculine combination that had her struggling to focus.

“Let me help you.”

“I can do it.” She tried to sound forceful and confident, but it came out breathy and—

“I know you can, but I can help.” His words whispered against her cheek. His arms came around her and he easily raised the umbrella, his body brushing hers with each turn of the crank. Then his arms were gone, leaving a strange void.

She turned to face him. He was so close. Nothing between them but the warm breeze. His sunglasses hung around his neck, revealing chocolate-brown eyes. Beyond beautiful, deep and rich, fringed with black lashes. A strong man with soft eyes. Eyes that could talk a girl into anything.

“Hey, Matt. Where’s our castle? I brought my football. Can we throw it in the water?” Jack shot off his questions, oblivious to the fact the two adults in front of him stood like frozen statues.

Matt’s eyes held her captive another long second before he turned his attention to her son and she let herself breathe.

“Yeah, sure. One sec.” He walked the few feet to where he’d left his beach chair and came back with two. “There.” He set up the chairs under her umbrella. “You’ll like it better with a chair.”

“Thank you. If you tell me how much, I’ll—”

“You’re welcome.”

“Matt—” She reached for her beach bag, but he stopped her with a hand on her arm.

Her mind went blank at the feeling of his hot hand on her skin and the sensation he was touching her everywhere.

“Matt!” Jack was about to burst a blood vessel.

Abby tried unsuccessfully to unglue her eyes as he walked down to the water. Matt’s sleek body dove through the waves as he played with Jack, and each time she held her breath, waiting for him to resurface. When he did, he burst through the water looking like a Greek god, chiseled out of smooth stone and coming to life right before her.

But the way he smiled at her son and gave him high fives made him even more beautiful. And the way she’d felt standing between his arms . . . Ridiculous, but still the word “safe” came to mind.

He stood in front of her, drops of water clinging to his arms and chest, dripping down the ridges of his stomach.

Jack ran up beside him. “We’re swim buddies. Right, Matt? Matt says you should always swim with a buddy.”

Matt’s raised eyebrows and the smirk he was fighting told her she’d been busted for gawking. “Do you want to come out? The water’s great.”

“Um, no. No, thanks. I’m not a strong swimmer. I mean I can swim, I just—”

“I’ll be your swim buddy.” He grinned and she caught a hint of dimples.

Oh, Lord.

“The ocean still hasn’t grown on you, huh?”

She swallowed hard. “It’s growing.”

Facing the Music ~ Cover Reveal

 photo FacingTheMusicCover.jpg

Author: Andrea Laurence
Release Date: September 15, 2014
Publisher: Pocket Star

This book sounds like it will be a good read, can't wait to check it out! Take a peak at the summary & excerpt below then sign up for the raffle at the end to win a gift card & mark your calendars for the release!

Five years ago, high school sweethearts Ivy and Blake’s relationship imploded and both their lives were changed forever. Ivy became a rock star and Blake lost not only his dreams of a successful NFL career, but his reputation. Ivy’s angry song about their breakup, called “Size Matters”; hit the top of the charts and Blake became a national laughingstock. He’s salvaged his career and returned to Rosewood to be the high school football coach, regaining his status as town hero and leading the boys to the state championships.

When a tornado whips through town and destroys the high school gymnasium and stadium, a committee is formed to help rebuild and plan some charity fundraisers. Blake’s grandmother requests that Ivy return to Rosewood for the events. Forced back together for the good of their hometown and their careers, Ivy and Blake have no choice but to put aside their differences, stop running from their pasts, and finally face the music.

God must be rewarding him for his patience. That had to be the answer. There was no other reason why he would trip over a scenario this sweet. Ivy was outside wearing nothing but a pair of bikini bottoms and a frown.

Blake killed the engine and slowly pulled his boat up to the dock. He tied it up, taking careful steps to secure his baby and make Ivy wait as long as humanly possible. From what he could see, she wasn’t going anywhere, even if she wanted to.

He climbed onto the dock and strolled causally over to the Hudson cabin with his hands thrust into his pockets. Taking his time, Blake soaked in every delicious detail, from Ivy’s irritated scowl to the full globes of her breasts pressed beneath her inadequate hands. He’d never been so jealous of a pair of hands in his life.

His jeans tightened uncomfortably as his inspection ran over her mostly bare body. He was frankly surprised by the reaction. Not because she wasn’t a beautiful and sexy woman—she was; that was a given—but because his dick had a deep, abiding hatred of Ivy. So did the rest of him, but it was his penis that had become the center of national attention for being woefully inadequate. At the moment, however, he had ample evidence to the contrary.

Star Attraction

 photo 9781743480861_472744.jpg

The worlds of media and celebrity collide in this fun and engrossing debut novel from entertainment and fashion writer Vanessa Stubbs.

Exploring the phenomenon of when opposites attract Star Attraction pitches two people at the height of their successful careers and asks if they'd risk it all for love.

The tale begins when Madison, an independent, ambitious journalist reporting on the issues that matter, is sent to interview Jamie (most-gorgeous-man-on-earth) Hall and Hollywood heartthrob from The Rose Diaries, a generation defining flick.

Suddenly Jamie Hall collapses during his day of publicity and the pressure is on for Madison to get the inside scoop. While she never counted on offending Jamie, he is exhausted with the media putting words in his mouth, and the interview goes horribly wrong.

But a chance 3am meeting in the last place you'd expect to find a movie star reveals that not all is as it seems with Jamie Hall.

They're from opposite worlds but Jamie and Madison have more in common than they realise. Can their love blossom with their mounting career pressures and the entire world watching?

‘The best Australian chick-lit I’ve read in years. It captures a tabloid newsroom and combines it with Hollywood glam’ - Sharri Markson, Editor of CLEO

My Personal Review

I enjoyed this book for the different approach it took in telling the story. This delved into the lifestyle of a journalist and an actor, how the paparazzi affects them and how the jobs can take over their lives.  Both Jamie and Madison loved their jobs but were beginning to feel the wear and tear of it on their lives. Fate brings the 2 of them together in the guise of Madison having to interview Jamie and things take there course from there.

Through the interview process the 2 get to know each other and begin to fall for one another. Choices are made and once again their jobs win out so Madison and Jamie are left to contemplate their choices and if they were really the right ones after all.

We really spend most of the book getting into the heads of these characters and experiencing their emotions along with them. There are some points where I just wanted Jamie or Madison to push ahead and go after what they wanted but things seem to take a more realistic approach so while it can be frustrating in parts, it's also rewarding in other parts.  You'll have to pick up a copy and give it a read to see how things end and if the 2 beat fate at it's matchmaking game or not.

Four Weddings and a Break Up

 photo PatrickBookBlitz.jpg

One fake relationship . . .

Ginny Michaels has always been a good girl and—ever since surviving a school shooting a little over a year ago—hailed a hero. Except she doesn’t feel like a hero. She can’t even have a one-night stand with sexy Wes Dalton properly. When her big city fling resurfaces in her hometown with an intriguing proposition, she’s powerless to resist. A fake relationship is exactly what’s needed to keep her small town’s matchmakers at bay during the upcoming wedding season. If only her attraction to Wes were as easy to ignore.

 Too many real kisses . . .

Wes Dalton doesn’t have many regrets, and that includes his night with Ginny. But he’s always hoped to strengthen his relationship with his estranged family. When his father’s health takes a bad turn, Wes puts his life on hold and moves to the meddling seaside town of Cape Hope. With his barriers in place—and a beautiful woman to help him hold them up—he’s prepared for anything. Or so he thinks. Despite his determination to leave as soon as the summer is over, those fake kisses are starting to feel an awful lot like the real thing.

I enjoyed this book from start to finish. It starts out with a bang but then gets into the nitty gritty of Ginny and Wes. You see the relationship blooming between them and root for them to open up and accept it. Both want it, both need it but yet neither really thinks they deserve it. Ginny's past makes her feel nothing but guilt and Wes's distance from his family makes him fear that he just isn't relationship material in any way, shape or form. The 2 of them decide to use their past hook up and chance reunion as a last resort to making it through their summer without being pimped out by the town matchmakers at every turn. Little do they realize that both are harboring embers for the other that will strike up a fire all on its own and try as they might, they won't be able to put it out.  Check out the following excerpt and then check into the Rafflecopter giveaway at the end of this blog for your chance to win a free copy!

The door creaked open. A young, dark-haired woman came out into the darkness. She held a tray with a beer on top of it. It wasn’t until she stepped into the dim light that he could make out her features.

She had the type of curves that separated the women from the girls.

Generous breasts that made his mouth water and lush hips he could hold onto. Shapely legs under a flared-out blue skirt and soft arms. An oval-shaped face with a pouty, pink mouth that begged for kissing, and deep brown eyes framed by sooty lashes. Glossy, rich brown hair tumbled over her shoulders, the ends dancing along the top of her breasts in a v-neck, white cotton t-shirt.

She was beautiful, sexy, and he was interested. Very interested.

Even though his whole body tightened in anticipation, he kept his stance and tone relaxed. “That for me?”

“The beer?” She glanced down at the tray and let out a nervous laugh that did something to his insides.

He found himself stepping closer, trying to understand this sudden need drumming in his veins. He’d never felt this pull before . . . there was something about her that made him want to know more. Like how she smelled, how she tasted, and how she would look naked in his arms. Well, he knew the answer to that last one.

She would look damn good naked in his arms.

“Yeah. It’s for—” Words died on her lips as she glanced up at him, her eyes widening as she realized he was inches away, their bodies facing each other as if they were about to dance. Not any of that slow waltzing thing but a dirty bump and grind where she’d rub herself against him. He’d been wrong. He thought her eyes were brown. Brown was too commonplace. Rich like melted dark chocolate. She gave brown-eyed girl a whole new meaning.

As their gazes held and lingered, those brown eyes darkened with desire. A faint blush stole her cheeks, and she licked her pouty lips. The air grew thick with want, the tension crackling. Then she ducked her head, her blush deepening.

If I Stay

 photo MorganTour.jpg

Ryan Lucas would rather be anywhere but Ransom Creek, Connecticut. After losing his high-adrenaline career as a Hollywood stunt driver, he's had to tuck his tail between his legs and take up employment as a chauffeur for the Montgomerys, a wealthy hotelier family.

Amy Sanders has returned home to Ransom Creek to take over her mother's former position as nanny to the Montgomerys—bringing her close to dashing Jake Montgomery once again. She grew up with a major crush on Jake, and it's not easy to leave those feelings behind, even though her friendship with the hard-edged family chauffeur, Ryan, has a sizzling undercurrent of undeniable attraction.

Amy's determined to prove to Ryan that life at Montgomery Manor isn't all bad, but each time they draw closer Jake swoops in. Amy is torn between two men—and two worlds. And Ryan is rapidly coming to learn that if he wants to make Amy his, he'll have to prove to her that life downstairs can be everything they both want.

My Personal Review

This book drew me in and then hooked me with the little family mystery that was wrapped within the love story, all tied with a little bow of humor. You have to love a book that makes you think and laugh right? Amy had her eye on Ryan from the day he started working for the Montgomerys and while she told herself that she was drawn to him because she had a need to make a sad person happy, she really was drawn to him for other reasons all together. Ryan held himself apart from getting close to anyone while he was on, what he felt to be, his pitstop to his ultimate career. Both of them harbor some secrets and while they want different things in life they will come to realize that ultimately those things aren't so different if each of them is willing to compromise a little. It does take a little mystery solving and scheming for them to get there but through that they gain a tighter bond and weed out the true intentions of all the players, to find that they were nothing but good all along. I thought I had the mystery figured out right at the start so as the story went on I didn't really question it until the very end when the plan doesn't go as intended and all truths are revealed. It was a nice little twist and a very enjoyable read.  Enter the Rafflecopter at the end of the blog for your chance to win!

Amy scooted out from underneath Ryan and got to shaky legs. Giving in to the indulgence of a backward glance to find him staring openmouthed at her, she lifted her shirt off and tossed it to the hallway floor.

“What are you doing?” he asked, his voice gruff.

She kept moving, an extra sway in her hips as she unbuttoned her shorts and shimmied them off her hips. “Leaving you a trail of bread crumbs in case you get lost along the way.”

She reached behind her and flicked open her serviceable white cotton bra. The only way to dress up that kind of bland plant material was to dangle it enticingly from one fingertip, which she did as she reached her door. It wasn’t locked—unless someone wanted to steal her ancient ten-pound laptop or her collection of Old World maps, there wasn’t much to take—so she pushed it open and slipped in.

One. Two. Three. Four. She flicked on the lights, assuming Ryan was right behind her. Five. Six. Seven. Was he seriously not going to follow her in here? Eight. Nine. Nine and a half.

She slipped out of her panties—more of the same boring white cotton, though at least they had bits of scalloped lace at the edges—and tossed them out the open door.

Nine and two-thirds. Nine and three-quarters. What the heck came after that?

“Goddammit.” Ryan stormed through the door and tossed all her clothes onto the floor. “Are you trying to kill me?”

He stopped, suspended in a swirl of desire that hit him from all sides, holding him momentarily aloft. In his haste to somehow find the ability to both walk and gather up Amy’s clothes, he’d forgotten that he held all her underclothes. Nothing stood between him and her completely naked body except distance and air—both of which mattered for absolutely zero.

I can’t take my lips off her. I need her so much right now. I’m starving for her lips. I can’t catch my breath, but I can’t stop either. I need her to feel how much I love her, need her to know how much I need her and that everything I said was a fucking lie. It was all the fear of not being able to live up to her expectations, the horror of disappointing her. I pushed her away instead of talking to her. If only I’d told her before why I was doing this, to help her mom out, then maybe this would’ve never happened.
But fuck, I am happy she’s here and that she’s all right. She’s here in my arms and I’m not letting her go. Never again.
I’m such a fucking mess, and still she loves me. I have no fucking clue why, but that’s why I love her. She loves me completely, unconditionally, so much that she can’t stand the thought of me even having the slightest scratch on me. I know I’m a bastard for earning money with fighting, but it’s the only thing I can do, and I’ll make sure I’ll be damn good at it. If she can’t see me get hurt, then I won’t let myself get hurt. I’ll make sure it never happens. I’ll train and fight until I can knockout everyone in my path with her watching me, smiling, proud.
I want to be her winner.
Smelling her, I take in her scent in with eagerness, wanting her so close, holding her isn’t even enough anymore. My fingers slide down her neck to her spine and down to her waist as I turn her around, still kissing her. I’m slowly taking her back to the car, not taking my lips off her. Entangling her fingers through my hair, she lets me push her backward until we reach the hood of the car. I’ve not been the best at finding directions when I have my fucking eyes closed. Kissing her is more important than seeing where I’m going.
She bumps against the hood, and I put my arms around her, making sure she can’t slip away. I’m not letting her out of my sight. Not anymore. Her plump, pink lips are so luscious … so soothing … so volatile for me. They turn me into something I shouldn’t be right now, but I can’t help myself.
Planting my hands on the hood, I trap her inside my arms and ravish her mouth. I can’t get enough of her, can’t get enough of her sweetness, her passion, her spark, her flame. I need her love right now.
“God … I want you so much right now, I can’t stop,” I murmur against her mouth, nipping at her lips, catching them with my teeth.
“I want you too. Don’t stop,” she whispers, and then she drags me closer by my shirt.
“Hmm …” I moan into her mouth, but then take my lips off her again. If I don’t stop now, I’ll turn into that beast again. I know, because I’ve been there before. She does that to me. Especially now, because I haven’t seen her for a while, and now that I’ve finally got my hands on her I’m not sure I can hold back. I don’t even want to, but I’m forcing myself to stop. It’s not right to take it further now. Not after what we just went through.
“We’re soaked,” I say.
“Yeah …” The way she says it sends shivers down my spine. It’s like she’s saying she’s ‘wet’ in a whole different way. Exhilarating.
“No, I mean, we should get back to the car.”
She shakes her head, pulling me in for another kiss, but I barely escape.
“I can’t control myself,” I say.
“You don’t need to.” She leans forward and pulls down my shirt, exposing my collarbone. When she starts pecking my skin, I’m done for.
Groaning, I say, “You don’t know what you’re in for.”
“Yes, I do. We’ve had sex before.”
“Not on a fucking car, on a road, in the rain.”
“I don’t care,” she whispers, wrapping her arms around my waist and pulling me closer. My cock springs alive from her tug. She’s never been this needy. This willing. It’s like she wants me to fuck her.
“I need to feel your lips on me. I need you. I need you everywhere. Inside me,” she whispers close to my ear. Fuck. She’s undoing me with her words. Now I’m hard as fuck.
It feels so fucking wrong after a fight, but so very tempting at the same time. My desire to take her has been multiplied by ten since we argued, as if my inner caveman knows that in order to fix love you need to fill each other up with love. Or in other words, fill her up to the brim.
My cock is throbbing in my pants at the thought of having her right now. I can’t think of anything else; it’s like my mind is only focused on one thing now, which is claiming her.
Ah, screw my conscious. “Fuck it …” I murmur, and then I dive into the little nook between her neck and shoulder and kiss her until my lips are raw and swollen.
I push her up against the car, and the lift her up, setting her down on the car. Parting her legs, I step closer and suck the beads of water off her skin. With my tongue I slip down her neck, licking up all the raindrops until I reach her tits. Her hands drop back onto the hood when I grasp both her perky tits in my hands and kiss the swell, going from one to the other.
“God, you’ve never tasted this good before.”
She giggles, which only gives me more incentive to seize her body and make it mine.
My fingers travel down her stomach while I keep my lips on her collarbone, teasing her as I slide lower and lower, avoiding her pleasure spot. I know she wants it, but I want her to savor that feeling for a while. I want her to realize what she’d be missing if I wasn’t there to please her anymore. And I want to enjoy myself while doing it.
I curl my fingers around her shirt and rip it over her head, surprising her. “You scared someone’s gonna find us here?” I tease, throwing the shirt on the hood of the car.
She squints, a smirk appearing on her face. “No.”
I purse my lips and raise an eyebrow. “Not even a little bit?”
Little moans escape her mouth as I massage her tits. She can’t speak, but shakes her head instead.
Hmm … I wonder how far she’ll go. I want to know if I can push her boundaries. It’s too exciting not to try. So I slide my fingers down her shoulder, pushing her bra down, and then in one surprise move I flip her tits out of her holsters.
She gasps as I immediately lock my mouth over her rosy nipples.
“Oh, Hunter …” she moans as I flick my tongue over her hardened peaks.
“What? You backing down yet?” I tease.
“No. Definitely not. Oh my god …” she murmurs.
“Hmm… I like that.” I grin against her skin as I lick her tits until they are nice and perky. My hand drifts down to her pussy and I splay my fingers, grasping her possessively. “Mine.”

My Personal Review
This was a pretty steamy read that picks up where Fury & Fierce (his & her points of view) leave off.  It opens with Autumn & Hunter waiting for Hunter's brother to be freed from jail and takes off from there.

Hunter & Trevor begin to recreate their home and deal with the struggle of finding work so they can make a living. We begin to realize that both brothers have mental/emotional damage caused by the fact that their mother was a drug addict. There's a struggle between the 2 of them as they try to figure out how they will pay the bills. Trevor wants Hunter to stay in college however Hunter feels he owes it to Trevor to be the one to find work.

Now that Trevor is home we have more focus on Hunter & Autumn, the couple, and while they can't keep their hands off each other, the communication is lacking and they find that they really have to work on that.  They both have things in their past that haunt them and stunt them when it comes to being in a relationship. It's a struggle for them to make it work however, there is a love built between them that is just as strong as their lust for one another so neither of them want to let the other go. There are some decisions Hunter makes that Autumn has some issues with until he lets her know why it is that he made those choices. That's such a sweet moment that shows just how big his heart is and that he loves her with every part of it.  It's also what ultimately sheds some light on Hunter for an important person in Autumn's life who really didn't approve of the 2 of them being together. Another very touching moment.

Trent, friend of the brothers, makes some appearances and becomes the voice of reason for Hunter in a few moments when he needs someone to point out that he's being an ass.  I did struggle with my feelings for Hunter in this book because of his attitude of not wanting to make changes however the more I read the more I realized that while he said he wasn't going to change, he actually was changing. There were little changes but he was actually willing to change in those areas where he knew it wasn't fair to Autumn. They do struggle up until the end of the book but we struggle with them through it all and there is a happy ending with some promise to a future where they will come into their own as a couple.  This book ends nicely however I would love to see how they grow from here.

I was provided with an ARC by the author in exchange for an honest review.

My Personal Review
Very short, quick read that just gives you a little background on Autumn. It also introduces Brody & Evie and why they seem so important to her. There are hints of Hunter & her crossing paths prior to her getting to college where they actually meet. Mostly it's the background to show how bullying affected her & how the kindness of a stranger helped her to take back her life & make it through to graduation, something she just wasn't sure she would be able to do.
