Falling Leaves

Falling, falling gently down
Sorta like a drunken clown
In the Autumn the air is crisp
When they fall I hear them whisp
Falling, falling gently down
Sorta like a drunken clown

Now if you didn't already, go back and sing it to the tune of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star:-)  This has been inspired by that song and the challenge at:

Jenny Matlock

Check it out!!

Well, I was so excited with your drunken clown line that I screwed up and deleted my comment. I love the way your mind works!!

Very good. As a matter of fact, I started my song with almost the exact same first line, but had so much trouble finding a rhyming-word for 'down', that I turned the whole sentence around.

Best wishes,

Love that image of leaves as drunken clowns. Colorful and imaginative.
