With gleaming wings

On this beautiful sunny summer’s day

Dart and glide through the fresh afternoon air

Without a care

Your spirit

A Woman's Appeal

From the curve of the neck to the rounded backside

A woman’s true beauty is nothing to hide

Remove all the clothing and let out what’s inside

For a true woman’s beauty can not be denied

The challenge to all is to see what’s within

Look beyond the obvious without any chagrin

There’s a heart and a mind beneath all that skin

And not delving deeper would be a true sin

Everything she holds dear and her personal ideals

The thoughts that she thinks and things that she feels

It’s those parts deep within that often reveal

The true beauty inside, that’s a woman’s appeal

Friends forever that’s what we said
but life had its own plans instead.

We argued and fought over silly things
always made up, couldn’t sever the strings.

There once was love between us two,
neither one of us really had a clue.

Joined at the hip through our school years
thought to be dating by all of our peers.

We never crossed that line, we made a pact
determined to keep our friendship intact.

Moments of temptation were always there
but we feared it would just end with despair.

We grew older and went separate ways
thinking it was all just a simple phase.

As time went on we talked less and less
the friendship we had went into distress.

We still keep in contact but it’s not the same,
both happy in life so there’s no one to blame.

We often look back on the fond memories
both living our lives at peace and with ease.

orion Pictures, Images and Photos

As I gaze up above it’s Orion I see

I feel his bright eyes burning a hole right through me.

Ebony orbs glistening with desire

as if it were my life he'd like to acquire.

He’s oddly comforting in his astral display

helping me keep the demons and monsters at bay.

I look forward to seeing him twenty-four hours a day

I don't want tomorrow to come, I want him to stay.

The sun will soon rise and he gives me a wink

as the sky gets brighter and he continues to shrink.

On the horizon blooms the sunrise’s bouquet

it's like unwrapping the present of a brand new day.

As I go through my day I know he’s not far

and as soon as night falls I look for his star.

He and his neighbors all keeping me sound

from high up above while I’m safe on the ground.
